The Sydney Oceanic Art Fair 2023 was very successful. The general public enjoyed great access to some wonderful art and access to traders with extensive knowledge. The vendors all seemed happy with the convivial atmosphere and many visitors who were both long term and new Oceanic art lovers.
Many attendees and vendors commented positively on the new host location for the Fair, the Cooee Art Leven Gallery, with everyone enjoying the white gallery walls and good lighting helping to properly display the art.This year saw the Fair expanded with a Gala Preview Evening on Saturday 28 October. Participants were able to preview traders’ exhibits, bid at an auction of items kindly donated by traders and members to raise funds for the Oceanic Art
