The Pacific Cultures Gallery at the South Australian Museum has now entered a period of hibernation. Most of the 2,500+ items in this gallery have been on public display for decades, some since the 19th century. Over the coming years, these items will be attended to by conservators, and the Museum will improve the conservation standards of this gallery to ensure the longevity of this collection for future generations.
