PACIFIC ARTS ASSOCIATION WEBSITE IS LIVE.
With the assistance of colleagues at the De Young Museum, the PAA Board has decided to pay for upgrading the current site, and to pay a regular maintenance fee to avoid further crashing of the site. Membership applications are available online.
Steven Hooper, President of the Pacific Arts Association, announces that a PAA Newsletter January 2018 is ready, under the co-editorship of Jacqueline Charles-Rault and Crispin Howarth. This is an interim one with the plan to produce two a year from 2018, around May/June and November/December.
Plans are moving along well for the XIIIth PAA-International Symposium at the Queensland Museum in Brisbane on 25-28 March 2019, to align with the 9th Asia-Pacific Triennial at the Queensland Art Gallery. More information will appear in the next Newsletter and on the PAA website.
The 2018-PAA-E meeting will be held at the Linden Museum in Stuttgart, Germany on 26-28 April, to coincide with their Hawai’i exhibition.
